Form yourselves into teams of Detectives. If you are all sitting around tables, the easiest way of doing this is to decide that each table represents a team. There are no hard and fast rules about the number of persons in a team but try and keep the number to around no more than eight.
Your team will compete against all the other teams in a bid to solve the mystery that will unfold before your very eyes throughout the course of the evening. Keep what you learn within your team. There is often a prize.
Proceedings commence with a short video. Watch it carefully. Make a note of the date on which the incident happened, what is said and done and pay particular attention to the people featured in the action. Most if not all of them will actually be present in the room with you.
On completion of the first video scene have a look round the room and see if you can identify any of the characters in the scene you have just watched. You may find it helpful to nominate a team member, or possibly more than one, to go and speak to the characters and question them about their actions. They will all have some information to impart providing they are asked the right questions.
