Curio directed by Steve Nesbit, won a total of 6 accolades at the 2010 Los Angeles Movie Awards. These included Best International Actor which went to Wayne Russell for his role as Len Garford (see left), Best International Feature, Best Supporting Actress, Best Editing, Best Special Effects and Best Set Design. This supernatural thriller has already won a Bronze Palm at the Mexico International Film Festival and an Award of Excellence at the US Indie Fest. |

Post Production has finally been completed on the eagerly awaited feature The Last Days of Edgar Harding. Directed by Stephen Fox for Digital Ghost Films, the title role of Edgar is played by Wayne Russell in one of his most challenging roles to date. The rest of the cast is full of well known names from TV and music and Screen Yorkshire have also been actively involved. The date for the screening has yet to be confirmed but sometime in late October or early November is looking favourite. | |

Wayne is currently filming a feature called The Trailer for Jobbernowl Films Director Nick Emm. Wayne was reluctant to give too much away but confirmed that he plays no less than 5 roles in the film which is in the Horror Genre. "It is a truly original storyline which has already attracted a lot of interest." he said. Shooting should be completed in the next month or so and it is hoped that the film will be released early next year. |
